Great Sewing and Quilting tools

Since we make our own signal flags we have found  some great quilting and sewing tools that work great and make life easier. I wanted to feature just a couple that I highly recommend.

The first is a “Luma Threader Lighted Needle Threader 7768 from Fons and Porter. Makes threading machine needles a snap. This spring-loaded threader has an ergonomic soft grip handle that fits comfortably in the hand. An added feature is the LED light for better visibility.” It works great and although it has a light which is nice and bright I really don’t need it. As pictured below.

Although a lot of places carry it I bought mine at  Martha’s Quilting Corner. I also buy fabric from her. Her selection of Kona Cotton is great. She carries so many different things that it’s always fun to browse her website. Wonderful customer service and very fast shipping and a pleasure to do business with.

Another great find was the Chaco Liner Pens as shown below.

If you have ever used those chunky chalk wheels you will really love the pens a lot better. “Easier to hold and maneuver, more like a writing tool. Tapered point for even more accurate marking. Rolls smoothly and draws fine lines that may be removed by brushing or vacuuming.”  I ordered the blue and really like it. It brushes off easily also when you no longer need the mark. I would highly recommend Home Fashion U.  They too have great customer service and fast shipping.  Home Fashion U
