Christmas Lights on Navy Ships

I wanted to share a couple of pictures of these ships that are decked out with Christmas lights. They were taken last year and bet that they are something to see in person.

I was a Sailor aboard the USS Bagley FF 1069 and on December 26th 1983 was the very first time to see my ship and it was totally decked out. the Asrock missile launcher was wrapped like a huge present with a big bow as was the 5 inch 54 cannon and the cannon barrel itself was a candy cane and big beautiful lights strung from fore to aft it was an awesome way to meet your ship

  2. Wow, that must have been a site to see and agree that it is sure a great way to meet your ship. Thank you for your service and for all that you do. Thanks so much for your comment!
