For the Child in all of us- Fun pictures with Signal Flags

This post is just for the fun of it. I decided to take some of my favorite animated scenes and put navy signal flags in the pictures.  Since children love secret messages and bright colors signal flags are a perfect fit.

The first picture is from “Lady and the Tramp” and is one of my all time favorites.  In real life I don’t recommend hanging our flags on spaghetti.  Even though we may be adults there is always a part of us that is pure kid.

The picture below shows “Rapunzel” with her hair down and also a vertical signal flag banner.  So that he wouldn’t get lost finding her the signal flags could be seen from a great distance.

Lastly is a picture I composed from ” The Littlest Mermaid”  The signal flags at the top of the picture spell  “Ariel & Eric”.

It seems to me that Prince Charming must have been in the Navy, right? After all, Richard Gere, in “Officer and a Gentleman,” sort of is the icon of the modern day Prince Charming. I can’t remember who it was who came to rescue Ms. Rapunzel, but wasn’t it one of Prince Charming’s brothers or relatives?

One way or another, people anywhere can count on the Navy to be there when anyone is in trouble. And that means everyone should know how to make signal flags, then put them together in the right message. Obviously Ms. Rapunzel knew how to do this, which is why she was rescued, got married, and lived happily ever after.

The Wicked Witch of the East didn’t know how to do signal flags, and look what happened to her!

  3. Yes, Prince Charming was in the Navy. He was always wearing white.

I am glad that I know how to make signal flags because after all I wouldn’t want a house to fall down on me like the wicked witch of the east. If that happened I couldn’t sew:)
